Singh said "Today's play was generally fine but green felt harder than yesterday, taking me some time to work wit this. Pin position was difficult today as well so was not easy to set my strategy." Then he said "I will focus on the tee shot tomorrow to avoid any trouble situations like I have done today. I will be strategically stable but will not forget to be aggressive."

On the other hand, Kang, Kyung Nam (23, Samhwa Bank) who showed an aggressive play towards the winner Singh had great play with 3 birdies in consecutive holes chasing Singh by 1 stroke behind. However, his tee shot feel in the hazard on 8th hole and more mistakes followed after that. The main trouble was the two bogies on 16th & 17th hole. Kang failed to make par on these two holes and this made the situation difficult to catch up with Singh. Kang said "It was the biggest mistake to have tee shot miss in the 8th hole dropping the ball in hazard.
